February / March at Baudelaire: Quizzes and Fun Bingo to Keep the Boredom at Bay
There is plenty to do in the center of Bratislava at night. But honestly – most places play the same old tired tune: „have a drink and go home.“ Here at Baudelaire Bar on Panská 6, we decided that life is too short for sterile evenings.
That’s why this February, we are launching a new program that will stir the air beneath our bar’s historic arches. Every Thursday (with a small exception at the start), something will be happening. We’re setting a rhythm you’ll want to mark in your calendar: one week of FUN BINGO with Miss Angelika, the next week a proper Quiz Night.
Consistent, human, and with just the right amount of decadence.
When do we start?
Forget the chaos; we’re moving at a steady, alternating pace. We start in mid-February:
Feb 19, 2026 (Thursday) – FUN BINGO (The Grand Opening!)
Feb 25, 2026 (Wednesday) – Quiz Night …and then every week alternating: Bingo – Quiz – Bingo.
Exact start times can always be found in our FB events, but expect an evening program – timed so you can comfortably make it after work and still have time for that first drink.
Quiz Night: Paper, Brains, and the Triumphant „I knew that!“
You know those quizzes where you spend half an hour installing an app, then the bar Wi-Fi crashes, and you feel like throwing your phone into the Danube? Well, we do things differently.
We rely on the classic paper quiz. It’s clean, straightforward, and above all, social. You sit down with your crew, get your sheets, and dive into the debate.
What to look forward to:
50 questions divided into 10 thematic rounds (including film and music).
3 rounds, with 15-minute breaks in between for strategic whispers at the bar or a cigarette.
Duration of approx. 2 to 2.5 hours – the perfect amount of time to learn something new and have a good laugh.
Prizes: Don’t just play for honor! The best teams will receive bar credit (€30, €20, €10) or a bottle of prosecco. A reward awaits you.
FUN BINGO: A game that’s only innocent on paper
You might know Bingo from the movies, but our FUN BINGO is in a league of its own. Mostly because it’s hosted by the legendary Miss Angelika.
A Czecho-Slovak travesty star and the alter ego of Martin Fritsch, she brings 25 years of stage experience from all over Europe to Panská street. Angelika loves the spotlight and connecting with the audience – get ready for humor, improvisation, and that bit of playful teasing that makes the night.
The „folk“ rules:
Buy a ticket for a symbolic €1 directly from Angelika (we recommend buying more for better luck).
If you cross out the first horizontal row, shout: LINIE! (Prize: a bottle of prosecco).
If you have a full ticket, shout: BINGO! (Prize: €20 discount on your tab for the night).
And yes, a photo with the winner and Angelika is a mandatory part of the ritual – you’ll find it on our Instagram the next morning.
